Hi, everybody,
CLASS 2024 was a success!  Lots of happy attendees!  I'd like to
thank everybody who made the show very enjoyable, everybody who put
hard work in bringing in exhibits, everybody who had presentations,
and everybody who helped me run the show, set up everything, and take
down everything.  I hope I haven't forgotten anyone.  ;)

Hi one and all, just had a wonderful weekend meeting at Commodore Los
Angeles Super Show, (CLASS) and I simply must give a massive shout out and
thank you to Robert Bernado.

Not only is he one of the most passionate (and knowledgeable)
afficionado’s of Commodore and Amiga history, I have had the pleasure to
meet, he is also the most generous gentleman, who went out of his way to
ensure my visit was an exceptionally enjoyable one.

Also thanks to the volunteer helpers and the attendees who embraced my
presence so genuinely. A weekend I will cherish forever.

Must've been exhausted because I slept 10 hours,

Robert , Pleased and amazed at the continuation of the C= spirit.

Unfortunately I cannot travel to LA .It has been long since I was regular at Cincinnati Commodore Club but my collection of Commodore and Amiga patiently await re-awakening.

Best regards.

Carl

Not to take away from the CA show, but note that there's quite a few
Commodore (and mixed platform) shows through the year in the Midwest.

IndyClassic (Indianapolis, IN) just occurred last weekend.  Lots of the
C4 crowd goes there, as do the LUCKY (LUCKI?) folks

VCF-MW (Chicago, IL) happens the week after Labor Day every year.  The
SWRAP/ECCC Commodore crowd represents at the show.  I will also say
that, should you have only so much time or energy to attend a show,
VCF-MW is still probably my first suggestion. There's probably as many
CBM 8-Bit exhibits there as most dedicated CBM shows, but that's just a
small part of the show. They just signed an agreement to move into a
30,000 sq ft venue for 2024, and I can't think of another mixed platform
show that's nearly as large.

Going a bit further afield, VCF-SE (Atlenta), VCF-SW (Dallas) are
scheduled, and I think Robert can provide information on VCF-W and
VCF-PNW for 2024.  In December, of course, TPUG always puts on World of
Commodore, a Commodore-focused show.  VCF-E just happened last weekend
as well, but it happens each year.

THere's a few stragglers (BoatFest, in the New England area, I think,
and a mixed platform show), and obviously events in other countries, but
lots of shows, so I hope there's one you cna join.

If you cannot be there in person, many of the shows offer live streaming.
